Hi, I’m Ebony Dukes, and I’m so glad you’re here.

Coffee Chats With Christ was born several years ago out of the quiet, sacred moments I spend each morning at my dining room table. After my daughter leaves for school, I turn everything off—no TV, no phone, no distractions.

I sit down with my breakfast and a single cup of coffee—not because I love coffee, but because it’s become part of the ritual. That warm mug in my hands feels like an invitation to slow down and be present.

In those still moments, I talk to God as if He were a guest in my home, sitting right across from me. I speak from my heart, ask questions, listen, and reflect. My questions are often rooted in three areas: my career and purpose, my relationships, and my family. And time after time, He meets me there—with insights, revelations, comfort, and clarity. It’s in those chats that I’ve found strength, healing, and purpose. I’ve also learned that He is the center of everything that I do, so instead of trying to hide, pivot, or continue to compartmentalize, I surrendered and integrated all areas of my life with Him into this blog.

This space – Coffee Chats With Christ – is an extension of that sacred time. It’s a place where I share what God pours into me, in addition to my real-life experiences, dreams, and testimonies told in a storytelling format, hoping it will encourage and uplift other believers who are navigating life, faith, and everything in between. You don’t have to love coffee to join me – just come with an open heart and a desire to grow closer to Christ. And if you’re not a believer, you’re still welcome here. I pray there’s transformation in your life as a result.
